What You'll Be Doing:

As our Mobile Mechanic, you will be the face of SSK Mobile Mechanics in Bradford. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• On-Site Diagnostics & Repair: Travelling to customer locations across Bradford and the surrounding areas in your provided company van to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. This includes servicing, fault finding, brake replacements, suspension work, battery fitting, minor electrical repairs, and more.

• Customer Service Excellence: Providing clear explanations of work required, offering professional advice, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience every time.

• Mobile Operations Management: Managing your daily schedule efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at appointments, and maintaining accurate records of work completed.

• Workshop Support: When not on mobile assignments, you will be expected to assist with light duties and general upkeep within our main workshop facilities in Bradford. This provides variety and team collaboration opportunities.

• Adhering to Standards: Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards, in line with industry best practices and company procedures.

• Flexible Working: Please note that due to the nature of mobile service, the role will involve late finishes on occasion, depending on your assigned rota and customer needs.

What We're Looking For (Required Skills & Experience):

• Minimum Qualifications: You must possess a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent, recognised automotive qualification.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a qualified mechanic, capable of independently diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults.
• Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving license.
• Age Requirement: Aged over 25 (for insurance purposes related to the company vehicle).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong diagnostic skills using modern equipment, a good understanding of vehicle electrics, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional demeanour. You'll be interacting directly with our customers.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work autonomously, manage your time effectively, and solve problems independently in a mobile environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate occasional late finishes as per the rota.
