Cancellations & Refunds Policy — SSK Mechanics Ltd

1. Customer cancellations

More than 24 hours before your appointment

  • No parts ordered on your behalf: 100% refund. No charge.
  • Parts already ordered: 75% refund. We retain 25% to cover non-returnable parts costs. If the parts are returnable, we refund the difference once the supplier accepts the return.

Less than 24 hours before your appointment

  • Any booking: 75% refund. We retain 25% to cover the reserved slot and any parts ordered.

No-show

If you are not available at the agreed location and time and have not contacted us, we charge 25% of the booking value. The remaining 75% is refunded.

2. Rescheduling

You can reschedule your appointment free of charge with more than 24 hours’ notice. Contact us by phone (01274 442192), email (bookings@sskmechanics.com), or WhatsApp.

Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to availability and may incur the same charges as a late cancellation.

3. SSK cancellations

If we cancel your booking for any reason (weather, technician illness, parts unavailability), you receive a 100% refund processed within 3-5 working days to your original payment method. We will contact you to offer an alternative date.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (card via Stripe, or PayPal). Processing time depends on your bank — typically 3-5 working days for card refunds, 1-2 working days for PayPal.

5. Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at bookings@sskmechanics.com with your booking reference. We aim to resolve disputes within 5 working days.
