Add useful equipment without compromising the car

USB / Wireless Charger Fitting
A hardwired USB or wireless phone charging point fitted neatly into the dashboard or console. Tidier and far more reliable than an adaptor hanging out of the cigarette lighter.
LED Bulb Upgrade
Road-legal LED upgrades for interior lights, number plate and other non-headlamp positions, with canbus adaptors where needed to prevent bulb-failure warnings. We will tell you honestly which positions are legal to convert and which are not.

Accessory Fitting FAQs
Will hardwiring a dash cam drain my battery?
A suitable parking-mode kit uses low-voltage protection, but battery condition, settings and vehicle use still matter. The installation should match the camera and car.
Can cables be hidden behind an A-pillar trim?
They must be routed so they do not cross or obstruct curtain airbags. Safe routing depends on the vehicle design.
Will an aftermarket stereo keep steering-wheel controls?
Often, with the correct vehicle-specific interface. Compatibility should be confirmed before the fitting appointment.
Can SSK Mechanics do this at my home or workplace?
